What is Maine Warrior Gym Summer Camp??

Designed to encourage physical movement and nurture a lifetime of good health, self-confidence, overcoming obstacles and accomplishing goals!

Good, healthy fun with friends!

Lots of fun will be had and these kids will work hard! Each day will have a specific theme, and while we will do a variety of exercises and games (all day every day) we will be working toward developing certain skills and having tons of fun throughout the week.

Small group training sessions and a 1/8 coach to camper ratio allows our coaches to accommodate beginner and advanced level students in the same camp!

One of a kind obstacles and challenges!

Our obstacle training includes age-appropriate methods of overcoming rope swings, vaults, walls, rings, monkey bars, rock climbing, cargo net, and the infamous Warped Wall from American Ninja Warrior. Kids will leave tired having had a great time and feeling accomplished.

Parkour and Ninja Warrior Summer camp in Maine gives kids a great place to let off steam and be who they want to be with their friends. Our trainers are great at relating to kids and helping them build confidence. Maine Warrior Gym is the best place in Maine to train Parkour and learn to move your body!

Some of the Fun we Have!

This is a short video we made at a past camp utilizing the skills the kids learned that week and showcasing them in this short action flick!

One of our amazing summer camp movies, showcasing the skills of all our warriors!

Warrior Gym Camp Details:

  • Camp runs Monday – Friday, 8:30a – 2:30p for each week listed.
  • Drop off: 8:15 – 8:30am
  • Pickup: 2:30 – 2:40pm
  • All skill levels are welcome.
  • Enrollment limited to 15 kids per age group.

What to bring:

  • Lunch in a cooler. We do not have a refrigerator for lunches.
  • Water bottle.
  • Light snacks. We will take two snack breaks one in the morning, one in the afternoon.
  • Clean, dry sneakers.
  • Comfortable athletic clothes.
  • Please no electronic devices! (If your child has a cell phone for security purposes that’s okay but it is not to be used for video games or youtube videos during camp hours)

Ninja Camp Activities:

  • Ninja Warrior Skill Training – We pick a particular obstacle or set of obstacles and learn the fundamentals of how to improve at it.
  • Parkour Training – Learning a particular move or set of moves that will advance your athletic acumen.
  • Challenges – Figuring out the method that works best for you and/or your team to overcome a certain challenge in the gym. This could be how to get from point A to point B in the fastest time, in the most interesting way, etc.
  • Free time! – In between our sessions, kids will have ample time to relax with their friends, explore the gym, challenge themselves and play their own games, with the supervision of our coaches.
  • Games – We’ve got all sorts of great games to play here. No matter what, any game is more fun at the Maine Warrior Gym! Floor-is-lava, Capture the Flag, S-T-I-C-K, Blaze Pod LightRace, Extreme Tic Tac Toe, and many more.
  • Down time is important!! – We like to stay ACTIVE here, but we have to mix in some slower activities in order to keep kids from getting too burnt out by Wed/Thur. When our bodies get overworked, safety becomes more of a concern, so we do sprinkle in some breaks, chill time, fort hangout, ANW showings, reading and even some craft projects.
  • Movie production – Depending on the week, we may try to do some filming and create a custom YouTube short with the kids that showcases their skills and that they can show to their friends and family.

Summer Camp After Care! – LIMITED to 8 kids per day!

I don’t want to read about it, I just want to sign up NOW
How to enroll: You will need to add EACH DAY separately from your account, by navigating to YOUR camp week and selecting the days you want aftercare for your child.

We are once again offering aftercare for our campers!! We do not have space for ALL of the campers however, so we will only be taking on a small group of 8 kids per DAY.

Aftercare goes until 5pm. Pickup anytime before 5:15pm.

Depending on the day, we will be doing sit down activities, age-appropriate movies, or the American Ninja Warrior TV show, toys, games and coloring supplies will be available, but kids will be encouraged to RELAX and RECOUP for the next day. We work HARD in camp, so after care will be a chillax-o time for the kids.

We encourage kids to bring a book, trading cards, quiet games, drawing supplies, etc.

To sign up for after care, you must enroll in EACH DAY individually.

Testimonials:

Amy Anderson says:

Maine Warrior Gym is a lifesaver. My son had just started his fifth-grade year at a new school. He was fearful and introverted, desperate not to do anything that would bring attention to himself. He was angry at his own lack of confidence.

He started taking regular lessons at Maine Warrior Gym over a year ago. His inner and outer strength continue to grow exponentially.

Amy Boucher says:

Our daughter has always had confidence in herself. However, over the past 6 months that she has been at the Maine Warrior Gym, we have seen a passion in her for this gym and new confidence that I have never seen before.

———–

Jill Callahan says:

My son is active and athletic.  He has limitless energy and participates in many sports. But the gym is different.  Here he is challenged much differently and pushed both physically and mentally in a supported and positive way.  I have seen him grow emotionally and physically in just a few short weeks.

Stressing his strengths and talents, the staff has allowed him to address his challenges in a positive light. Making him feel successful each week regardless of if he was able to perform a specific task.  He looks forward to each new week and has developed critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Jeff Dorais says:
The Maine Warrior Gym has been an amazing place for my daughter to grow and become her own person.  My daughter struggles with multiple issues that can disrupt ones way of thinking and confidence.  Since she started at the Maine Warrior Gym she has gained more confidence in herself and has really started to shine.
